Tirkx.com - Slow Anime Direct Downloads Archive
Just like Fansub.tv, or more accurately, yurikamome.info, Tirkx.com is a really slow anime direct downloads site with a really huge archive of anime downloads. But, you won’t be surprised at how slow it is when you realise that it apparently chugs through 2TB+ of bandwidth per day. It’s hosted in Thailand, so I think you’ll only be able to get fast speeds if you’re there.

- Speed: Slow
- Content: 137+ full and ongoing anime series/movies
- Update Frequency: Very regular (as new episodes are released through BT)
- Video Format: .avi (HQ)
- Note: Requires free registration. Even though they use a forum-based download system, posting is not required. Most anime series come with both an English and Thai version. Only 1 connection allowed.
Given the huge database of files, I suggest using this resource when you’re really desperate. When you’re looking for that 5-year old anime series that can’t be found anywhere else on the net (aside from pay-to-download sites and anime forums), Tirkx.com should have it.

not sure if its just me, but im having a hard time registering. Its really slow. Is this normal? or did I catch em at a bad time.

depending on your location, and their network connectivity… I think it was mentioned that they’re in thailand or something, so if where you are located have bad network connectivity, it’ll be likely that you can’t get good speed there regardless of the time you visit… I seem to connect to their site okay… but fact that their site is backed by phpbb means I won’t sign up there :p the speed is okay for the website though…

Nope, the slowness is normal for tirkx.com. I happen to be near Thailand, but it’s still slow for me.

nothing really, just a paranoia carried over from my server days where I host people… and lets not say normal ppl… people who tends to not update their forums as exploits gets discovered… and with exploits like the infamous howdark exploit for phpbb, I banned phpbb from my server and start to hate it with a deep passion… other than that… just its piles and piles of exploits that allows very easy defacement for the forums and what not…

Nope this site is really fast if you live in Thailand.
My friend lives in Thailand and he always gets a speed above 400 KB/s with 4Mbps ADSL.

Haha, yeah. I did write that Thai residents should get great speeds.
But I seriously didn’t know how great. My god. 8 MB/s is god like.

guys, this may sound a bit dumb, but how you register in the site? i clicked on the registration link, but whats annoyed me is it ask for a passport id. I cant understand thai for one thing, but this is the first time i got so annoyed
