List of Dead Anime Direct Download Sites
I’ve finally mustered the willpower to overcome my laziness in implementing a popular reader request: Marking anime direct download sites as dead after they shut down.
The implementation will involve two approaches. One: Sites that are dead will have a “Site Is Dead” sign placed on the top left of the post featuring it.
Two: A list of dead anime direct download sites will be put up, which will be linked from “Site Is Dead” signs.
Hopefully, this will prevent the time wastage and confusion from checking out dead sites.
P.S.: I’m still in the process of compiling the list, so you’ll find that quite a number of dead sites are not on it yet.

Hello,
I’m a pretty avid fan of your reviews and find them extremely
informative and definitely useful.
However, I wasn’t sure how to contact you on a direct download anime
site that I’ve recently come across, for some reason, I’m not able to email you, therefore I’m just going to post a comment and hope you get it.
The site is new, I believe, and they use free services to download
anime. They seem to update pretty often although their selection is
sort of low. I hope that they’ll grow; they seem like a nice site.
Basically, since I figured you had a good process of evaluating, I’d
see if you’d perhaps do a review or something; add it to your list of
assessed anime sites.

Keep up the awesome work

Jon: AnimeFairGrounds itself is actually dead. If you check, it routs you to a Job Vacancy site. But it has been replaced by AnimeGround’s Free Media section, so if you’re talking about this, then yeah, it isn’t really dead yet.
As Nanuya pointed out, CyberTokyo itself is still up, but it no longer provides DDLs.
Ryan: It could be that my host’s mail server failed to route your email to my GMail account. Sorry for that. I’ve changed the email on the sidebar to my GMail account instead.
In any case, thanks for the tip. I’ll check it out as soon as I can.

Hmm, in that case, I might not have to classify it as a Dead Site.
Thanks. I’ll check and see.

Thanks a lot. I’ll update the list.
P.S.: I edited your comment to place the link “inline” because the link was too long, and was breaking this blog’s design. Sorry.
