    Another DD site revealed.
Located at flying-panda.net, it hosts a variety of shows like Eureka 7, Ray the animation, and other misc. stuff like PVs. Haven’t downloaded anything from it, but the speed should be quite fast since it’s obscure at this time.

ftp://animorc.zapto .org:1156/ is a huge FTP housing about 150 anime series, various anime movies, and volumes of manga. I have yet to test the speed, but given the gargantuan size of this resource, I am not too optimistic. But it’s definitely worth a try since the perceived drawbacks can be negated by the sheer volume of the collection.

Oh by the way, the FTP I think only allows one connection each IP, s opening more than 1 connection using download managers may win a ban. Not a good thing. :(

I heard that TeamSkn’s Public Distro also hosts a public bot now, they only have one but it offers “LOTS” and it’s fast. It’s located in the eastern coast of the US in the state of New Jersey.

It offers tons of Anime, some drama, some hentai, and some OSTs. It lets you have two sends at a time and ten queues per person.

I can’t test the speeds because I can’t find a way to connect to the bot, but my friends say some of them got over 1 MB/s.

The channel is #AnimeSkn and it’s on the Rizon server. The bot name is AnimeSkn.

Also, once in a while there are other bots in there, right now there is a second one called anikei|bitch that is hosted by one of the owner’s friends.

It’s offering Uchuu no Stellvia at the moment.

Rainy: Thanks for the tip, but it wasn’t working when I tried it earlier. I’ll try it again soon and see how it goes, but you’re right, the 1 connection rule is pretty tough for an FTP not because we actually need more connections, but because if you get disconnected and automatically reconnect, that’ll count as two connections since the earlier connection is temporarily persistent for some FTPs.

Pie-sama: Ah, that sound good. Thanks for the info, but since I’m in Asia, I guess I won’t be getting good speeds from the bot. :(

Yeah, that’s unfortunate, the best speeds I heard that some people from Singapore and Malaysia got were up to 50 KB/s.

Hehe, too bad for me then, but the bot should still be great for most people. :)

I really wish this site would go away. It takes away from donations to the bot owners, and further publicizes that which does NOT need be public
