[Info] Where to Get Anime on Slow Free File Hosts
Now, for those that can handle Megaupload and the other slow free file hosts, there are quite a few sources for links to anime episodes. Of course, since these file hosts are slow, u’ll have to be pretty desperate to look for anime on Megaupload (unless you have Megaupload Premium, which I’ve been told isn’t too good). Clearly, this is unlike the faster free hosts like Filefront.
http://www.shareparadise.net
- has quite a lot of anime and has lots of other stuff too, j and k-dramas/movies.
- could be down at the moment.
http://www.slopeanime.com (public forum)
- has quite a large list of anime
http://www.animeotaku.info/showthread.php?t=19275
- a large compilation of anime on such hosts

I get dl speed upto 600KB/s using Megaupload premium (Im on cable anyway, and I use Flashget to open 4-6 connections at a time). Not bad speed.
If you often have to download lots of files on mega, buy 1 acc and share the fee with some friends ( I did it).
FF is good host but they often delete your files and acc (for violationg their ToS), so I think that’s the reason why ppl dont like it.
I love 3 of those sites above, thanks ^^.
January 25th, 2006 22:22
Hehe, good that you have the DL speed to enjoy Megaupload premium. And yeah, you’re right. If you have a lot of friends in a hostel or something, then you can use your PC to download and let them leech off your PC (LAN). Perfectly legal too.
January 26th, 2006 22:30
Nah, you dont need to be on LAN with them. In fact my friends are all over the world (Canada, US, UK,…). I have never got any warning from megaupload s far (used this acc for 6 months). I assume that they dont check it at all, or they allow you to connect from different ip address (well, because if they dont then what happens if Im on modem? Oh, and even Im on cable my real ip address does change from time to time, not so often tho)
January 27th, 2006 00:40
Is it? That’s crazy. But I think if you all log in at once, Megaupload is bound to find out, right?
January 27th, 2006 14:47
That’s…. I dont know. Actually I dont know if my friends login at the same time I do (well, how can I know ^^?) The truth is I’ve never encountered any problem so far, but that doesnt mean it’s totally safe to do so anyway.
So the only thing I can say is: try at you own risk. But even if megaupload finds out, they should send you a warning at first, or temporarily block your acc. Since you bought the acc legally, just email them and talk, rite^^?
January 27th, 2006 19:24
Hehe, that’s true. But I’ve heard from forums that Megaupload’s support is pretty bad. Personally though, my emails were always replied to rather promptly (when I was using it before). So you should be rite.
January 30th, 2006 21:28
I do agree with that: Megaupload’support is bad, the suggestion address something never worked for me. But this one works: account@megaupload.com (its for premium accounts only tho)
Update on tho sites:
http://www.slopeanime.com I think they are offering free direct download also(?) Im just so lazy to check coz they require me to register even just to check the announcement in the forum, stupid.
http://www.shareparadise.net
It’s trying to host some animes, according to the admin he will try to host 1 series/month and see how it works out first. The current anime is Tactics.
January 31st, 2006 06:04
That’s good news. I’ll have to check up on slopeanime.com since I already have an account there.
I have my doubts on shareparadise though. I was one of the initial posters of anime on that forum, but I couldn’t wait for it to bloom. Far too few posting members there. Even now, it’s the admin and a few others doing most of the work. Hopefully everything works out though.
In any case, thanks for the updates. I doubt I have known of these changes otherwise since I stopped using Megaupload a month back.

So how is slopeanime? Is it worth registering there? Im kinda tired of registering every site.
about shareparadise, they do host Tactics now, but I dont like that series anyway. And well, it takes time for any cyber site to grow^^.

Hmm, Slopeanime still looks the same. According to their news release, all they did was to reset their public downloads section - which is actually just a forum where uploaders upload various series on Megaupload, and co.
From what I understand, resetting means that you can now request new series to be uploaded. But there’s still no direct downloads.
Now on whether it’s worth registering to: Since you have Megaupload premium, I suggest you do. There’s a large variety of series on Megaupload there, with some rare ones like Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure (unless you got it from IRC already).

Shareparadise is offering Tactics, Tenshi na Konamaiki for download without the need of posting. All you have to do is register and login.
I recommend Tenshi na Konamaiki, very funny one (currently following this series)
I dont know how much bw they have, so get it while it lasts.

[…] With a tip from pimp, I ventured into Shareparadise.net (the Megaupload and co. link sharing forum) for anime direct downloads, and indeed, there they were. Actually, I’ve featured Shareparadise.net before, but a few changes have occured since then - including the addition of these direct downloads and a link-sharing system. But I’ll leave the new link-sharing system for another post (since not many people will be interested in that). […]

Thanks for covering the site, ZMang, actually we got many visiors that came from your site.
Thanks to those who undestand why we chose to use a point-system. And I think I made the right choice: We got near over 650 members with 3000 links shared now, which is about 450GB or so, and there are over 100 animes series are shared.
Actually now the sharers can choose to share their links for free or not, it’s a new feature of the system.
Anyway, I believe in sharing, and that you must Give to Get. If you want to get things you want without even doing anything, then you are not wanted in our site.

For the download model Shareparadise.net is using, sharing is of utmost importance. That’s probably why I was disappointed in the early stages of the site.
But the change is refreshing, and it’s nice that Shareparadise is doing great now.
Thanks for stopping over.

[…] Anime DESU is something like Shareparadise.net, an anime forum which primarily aggregates direct download links on free file hosts, e.g. Megaupload. But unlike the community structure of Shareparadise.net, Anime DESU is almost completely admin updated, and currently uses Gigagone (a relatively new free file host) exclusively (possibly due to its FTP upload feature and above average speeds). […]

Huhm, I have never reached that limit tho.
Anyway, why my msg always flagged as spam or something on your site…………….?
May 24th, 2006 00:06
Eeks. Sent an email your way already.
May 24th, 2006 03:15
Thank you Zmang, oh, so Anime DESU is something like AnimeUpload or AnimeUpdate (or maybe not, coz those 2 sites dont upload themselves, they TAKE links from all over the net).
Anyway, I have seen lots of this kind of self-managing sites, but for asian movies, and they are good (like silentregrets or idol-unlimited)
May 24th, 2006 17:48
Yeah, you’re right. That’s why I’ve not featured AnimeUpload or AnimeUpdate yet. I don’t think it’s very fair to “claim” other people’s links as their own even if it is on free file hosts.
Without attribution too. Zzzz.
