Codain Anime - Anime Direct Downloads Forum
This anime direct download forum suggests that it provides anime through both its own media server and free file hosts, but I can’t seem to find any links to anime uploaded to free file hosts at the site.
So, until I’m informed otherwise, I’ll assume that Codain Anime does not provide any anime on free file hosts. Update: The site’s admin has clarified that they do not place anything on free file hosts.
1. Codain Anime
- Speed: Unknown (sorry, didn’t have time to make the 5 posts, but it’s admin suggests speeds of around 200KB/s)
- Content: Around 20 ongoing (e.g. Welcome to the NHK, Ouran, Tonagura, Zero no Tsukaima, etc.) and
10 completed anime series (e.g. Fate-Stay Night, Azumanga Daioh, Air, Suzumiya Haruhi, etc.). - Posts Required to Access Downloads: 5 posts
- Posts Required Per Episode: None
- Update Frequency: Quite Frequent
- Video Format: .avi (HQ), .mp4 (HQ)
[not completely sure, please correct if wrong] - Note: Free registration required (e-mail confirmation not required). 5 forum posts required to access downloads section.

The sites media is purely on its own server.
We do not place anything on free hosts. The files are all HQ - MQ files, usually 170mb or higher.
The speeds are decent, they will slow down due to user activity but usually keep up at 200kbs
The site hosts closer to 30 anime series and is hosting over 100GB at the moment.
Hope this helps keep the informaion accurate

One other thing that i forgot to add, we host more than just those 4 completed series. I dont think it would be too hard for you to make 5 posts on my forum to see our completed list since i cant really be bothered writing out our entire collection.
I do know that we have school rumble season 1, tsubasa chronicles season 1 and Fullmetal Alchemist completed that you did not list.
btw… where did you get the info about Codain Anime from if you didn’t get 5 posts???

“The sites media is purely on its own server.”
Thanks for clarifying, because you did suggest that you were setting up a “Download Links” section where links to anime episodes uploaded to Megaupload and the like by your users would be aggregated. If you have forgotten, here’s your forum post on this.
“One other thing that i forgot to add, we host more than just those 4 completed series. I dont think it would be too hard for you to make 5 posts on my forum to see our completed list since i cant really be bothered writing out our entire collection.”
Indeed, it wouldn’t be “too hard” as you said. But it would be nice if you took into account the time constraints on my part at the moment. After all, when I post in forums, I try to ensure they’re non-spam and are informative. Easy or hard is then highly subjective.
In fact, it would be even easier on your part to ensure that a full list is made available to the public. It’s easier for potential members and not only for myself, no? Of course, as owner, the choice is yours.
“The site hosts closer to 30 anime series and is hosting over 100GB at the moment.”
Thank you for this bit of info. I’ll then assume that we’re looking at closer to 10 completed anime series, and will update accordingly.
“btw… where did you get the info about Codain Anime from if you didn’t get 5 posts???”
By searching around your site and forum.
In any case, thanks for stopping by and helping to clarify, as it is unlikely I’ll have the time to make those 5 posts.

That is quite true. When i release our media list i will send it to you.
Regarding the user created links on free sources such as megaupload, as i stipulated in the private message, this is not supported in any way by Codain Anime.
It is just similar to a torrent link. We do not host the media, we just provide off site links. These anime titles will never be included in any statistic of the media on the site, its just an easier way for users to trade media, that is all.
Hope this helps clarify more information

Thanks a lot.
On the user-created links, I understand what you mean; many sites have the same policy. But I was actually looking at it as a additional feature, not a drawback, so no worries there.

there have been a few changes.
You now need 10 posts to download and we have a full anime list that has all the series we host.
We are now hosting over 45 series and still incresing.

Not sure how much use this is as ZMAng does not bother to update this…
But Codain Anime is merging to form a new site opening mid october.
I am sure ZMAng will review the new site when he hears about it and will most likely correct this review.
It will still have all the perks of Codain Anime but it will be ‘less hassle’.
There will be no post count required to download, just a free registration.
Well, I hope to see everyone at the new site.

Sorry everybody (esp. Coda). I’ve been a “bit” busy - to say the least - so, I haven’t had the time to update this. I’ll try to get it done soon, but it would be great if you emailed me when your new site comes up Coda.
Thanks.

Hello, my name is Anna! As you can probably tell, I’m a Christian woman who loves Jesus Christ and cares for all humans, even the wicked. What you probably don’t know is that I’m hot. My picture below isn’t really that good. I want to use my beauty for GOD, and want to encourage Christian women (my sisters in Christ) to do the same, according to the Great Commission.
