I have finally decided to compile an A-Z listing of anime series with their respective direct download sites. So far, I’ve reached the start of C, but I do not think that I have actually finished A or B either. So, check it out, the page is on the Key Page navigation bar on the right or check it here.
As you might have noticed, my blog lacks all the pictures from the version at Blogspot. This is because I uploaded the all the pics thorough Blogspot’s free image host service. Darn. I’ll have to upload them on this server soon.
I have finally switched to WordPress. The lack of in-built categorisation in Blogger finally tilted me over to WordPress. I will probably complete the transition in a few days, but until then I will continue to update Anime Field @ Blogspot.com in order to smooth the transition.
So, for a couple of weeks, I will most likely be posting in both blogs.
Gah! It was nice while it lasted, but FileFront has terminated the account used to store quite a bit of the downloads hosted on Anime Field.
The reason: A supposed DMCA violation, which is ridiculous given that the fansubs hosted were unlicensed in the US (that is where FileFront is, is it not?).
Possible solution: I am probably looking at some other free file hosts. Although MegaUpload is a stable host, it is remarkably slow, which is something I suppose is inevitable given the large number of files and users on MegaUpload.
- For small files, I suppose it would be okay for me to host it on my own server.
- But for larger files, that would be rather disastrous (at least from my knowledge of the bandwidth consumptions of direct download sites). So, I will probably try to test out some free file hosts to see if any are fast (and stable) enough. Or, maybe I’ll find some other way to still use FileFront, lol.
Any suggestions? (I really hope this will not be treated as a rethorical question, lol)
For regular visitors, it must have been quite noticeable that I have been tinkering with the right navbar. For one, I have removed the BlogExplosion Rent My Blog as well as some other redundant stuff like the Secondary Navigation.
Actually, I was thinking about remodelling the entire blog. Sticking with a standard BlogSpot template is probably not an option given that a thousand other blogs would use it. But I have to admit that they are truly functional.
Moreover, I will need to add categorisation soon, but BlogSpot does not inherently support it. I will probably use a workaround (using iframes and multiple blogs) or do it manually. Hmm, which one?
So what do you guys think?
Due to the lack of participation from my dear visitors (even though more than 300 people visit this site daily), I’ll start taking requests for unlicensed anime episodes. In fact, requests for [Info] articles would be fine as well. Post your requests in the comments for this post and I’ll try to fulfill it as soon as possible (if I can, of course).

I just put up a Rent My Blog from BlogExplosion on site. For those who don’t know, its a means to advertise the “Renter’s” blog while at the same time providing me credit so I can “Rent” other blogs.
