It’s inevitable that most of the anime direct download sites available on the net today host only Naruto and/or Bleach. Why? Their sheer popularity. So, just bear with it when multiple DDL sites on these series are featured here.

Don’t worry. There will always be sites that serve other stuff. A first stop to discover those? Anime Field’s type-sorted list.

So, for now, here’s a site that hosts both of the series we mentioned earlier:

1) Saiyan Island

• Media Server Content: Recent episodes of Naruto and Bleach.
• Update Frequency: Above Average
• Video Format: .rmvb (LQ to MQ)
• Note: Hassle-free, i.e. registration and forum posting not required to access downloads.

Another Naruto direct download site here. This time, it’s one which hosts both .avi and .rmvb versions – though the .avi episodes are only available for some of the more recent episodes. And from what I can see, they only host their episodes on free file hosts, e.g. SendSpace, RapidShare, etc.

Anything else? Nope. Just check it out:

1) Naruto Bunshin

• Free File Host Speed: Unknown (too many different free file hosts used)
• Free File Host Content: All Naruto anime episodes and manga chapters.
• Update Frequency: Above Average
• Video Format: .rmvb/.mkv (multiple versions from LQ to MQ), .avi (HQ)
• Note: Free registration required to access downloads, but forum posting is not required. Optional pay-for premium downloads section available. Site only uses free file hosts, i.e. does not have their own media server.

If you dare say that there isn’t enough direct download sites for Naruto, I’d probably have to hurt you real bad. Seriously. Why? Because here’s yet another one.

Naruto Community provides all episodes of Naruto, plus a little bit more on their servers, and all you need to do is to register.

Since they have a forum (though forum posting is not mandatory), they do have some anime uploaded to free file hosts by their users, e.g. Yu Yu Hakusho, though I can’t be certain how much there is since the site doesn’t seem to want to feature what’s available.

• Media Server Content: All episodes of Naruto, and anime OSTs from 14 series.
• Update Frequency: Above Average
• Video Format: .rmvb (LQ to MQ) or .avi (HQ)
• Note: Free registration required (e-mail confirmation not required), but forum posting is not required to access downloads.

First up, a warning: zipped .rmvb anime episodes ahead. If you don’t mind, here’s yet another .rmvb anime direct download site for your perusal. It’s focused on Bleach and Naruto, but there’s some DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho as well.

• Speed: Quite Fast
• Public Content: Some episodes from 4 anime series (Bleach, Naruto, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho)
• Update Frequency: Low
• Video Format: .rmvb (LQ to MQ)
• Note: Hassle-free site, i.e. no registration or forum posting required to access downloads. However, episodes are compressed into .zip format, and thus require unzipping after you finish downloading them.

Anime Field’s Naruto and Bleach Week might have ended two weeks ago, but given the insatiable downloading desires of Naruto and Bleach fans, I figured I couldn’t go wrong featuring a Naruto and Bleach direct downloads forum.

1. OtakuTalk

• Speed: Unknown (Sorry, I haven’t had the time to gain access to their downloads section)
• Posts Required to Access Downloads: 10 posts.
• Content: Recent anime episodes and manga chapters of Naruto and Bleach.
• Update Frequency: Frequent
• Video Format: .avi (HQ)
• Note: Requires free registration and 10 non-spam forum posts to access downloads. Ad-free.

It’s still in the process of reuploading and relinking most of its anime (in fact, all of its Bleach and Naruto), but its Air Gear episodes are working fine.

Next up, DragonBallZ DivX. It’s an established site with a large number of members (17000+ if you take a look at their member statistics), so many of you might have heard of it already.

It provides quite a number of different anime series for its members, but Bleach and Naruto remain as primary direct download targets.

• Content: Recent episodes of Bleach and Naruto (about 20 episodes for each series), plus a few other series (e.g. Soul Link, Blood+, etc.)

• Note: Free registration required for most direct downloads provided. There is also an option for Premium Downloads – which you must pay for. However, it’s just an option.

Recently, I’ve been reminded by a few people that I haven’t been featuring many Naruto and Bleach direct download sites. So, as the first step of my repentance… here is one of the more popular Naruto and Bleach direct download sites:
