AnimeDDL.com – Anime Direct Downloads Site

Site Is Dead

Another anime direct downloads site for recent fansubs. The episodes available for download are zipped though – possibly in order to prevent automatic streaming on certain browsers.

It shouldn’t be much of a problem though, so check it out:

1) AnimeDDL.com

  • Speed: Fast
  • Content: Recent episodes from some ongoing anime series (e.g. Karin, KIBA, REC, Wind, Kashimashi, Zoids Genesis, LAP, etc.)
  • Update Frequency: Quite Frequent
  • Note: Almost hassle-free anime direct downloads site, i.e. no registration or forum posting required. However, all episodes are compressed into .zip format, i.e. you’ll have to unzip the episodes using software like WinZip.

If you liked this post, keep updated with future posts by subcribing to Anime Field (for free) through RSS or email.

I am puzzled as to why would they zip videos since videos don’t compress well at all, and in addition it adds all the hassle of unzipping those large files.
I was fortunate to find a nice Naruto direct DL site. This site hosts exclusively Naruto anime series. And due to it’s popularity and the bandiwidth pressure that comes with it, I think donwloads are limited to every user. But it’s quite fast and has a large archive of past Naruto episode. It would be nice to give this site Naruto Chaos more exposure through your blog.
And by the way, registration is mandatory prior to download, but there is no irksome Activation by Mail feature and I completed registration swiftly in about 30 seconds. :D

….After ranting on and on, I almost forgot to include site URL. -_-”

Lolz, breaking down from your hassle-free download site principle eh? :)

I think I’ll do a mass-naruto and another mass-bleach post some time soon. That’ll probably be easier to digest given the multitude of sites for these two anime series out there.

Thanks for the rant though. :)

Teamskn.net requires registration, but that’s it. I don’t think you’ll need to activate by mail either.

After that, you should be able to see the (previously hidden) episodes available for download when you go to the Downloads page.

I take what I said about Naruto direct DL site being fast part BACK! It’s not fast at alllllll! Okay, first, if you are lucky, download at an opportune time like midnight, it may reach 160 KB/sec, but then slowly but surely the speed starts to dwindle down to a chilling 20KB/sec. Might be helpful for those who cannot use BitTorrent like me, but not worth it if you can just download off a well-seeded seed.
