AnimeBW – Anime Direct Download Forum
Here’s a currently hassle-free, i.e. no registration or forum posting required, anime direct download forum. “Currently” because AnimeBW normally requires you to be active on their forums before you are given the password to their direct downloads section.
But the password was removed a couple of days back. For how long, I have no idea. So, I suggest you take advantage uhmm… utilise the available resources now.

- Note: Temporarily a hassle-free site, i.e. no registration or forum posting required to access downloads. Normally, free registration and active forum posting (exact details on what “active” means are not provided) is required before you are passed the password to the downloads section.

AnimeBW “NORMALLY” does not have a password on it. They placed it on because of a speed issue. It is now back to the way it was to begin with. They never required you to sign up on the forums to access the downloads until the issue came up.

Thanks for pointing it out, but it’s not that I’m not aware of this fact. As the change to forum+password looks to be a strong fixture – both in the recent past and near future – I believe it is correct to state that “normally” is WITH password.
Moreover, in the admin announcement that stated that the password would be removed, there was the suggestion that the password still be passed around in case of future need. This alone indicates to me that it is entirely possible for a return to forum+password status.

Anonymous (No. 3): Thanks for the tip. It’s on my bookmarks, but since it went down when I wanted to featured it, I forgot completely about it. For now, I’ll wait until it starts hosting anime again before featuring it.

The password has been removed for good. The password that is still being passed around is for the FTP access. Perhaps you should read up a bit before you ask silly questions like that…

Now delete the #1 link off the list that you see above and move the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc…) and add YOUR link as #6 on the list.
