Anime Online - Anime Direct Download Site
Can’t really remember where I found this site from, but anyway… a hassle-free direct downloads site is always a good addition to an anime fan’s bookmarks list. However, according to the Russian text at the very top of the page, the site will be closing down soon “due to the lack of volunteers” or something like that (based on Babelfish translation).

- Content: 42 full anime series (e.g. Angelic Layer, Azumanga Daioh, Dual!, Gravitation, Jubei-Chan, Kino’s Travels, Narutaru, Noir, etc.)
- Update Frequency: Unknown
- Video Format: .avi (HQ)
- Note: Hassle-free site, i.e. no registration required to download.
P.S.: It’s a Russian site, but unlike the other Russian sites I’ve heard of, this one doesn’t require you to have a Russian IP address. However, as expected, download speeds are slow.
P.S. 2: There’s a link on the index page to the site’s FTP as well, but it’s password-protected. The username is: anime, while the password is : emina. However, the FTP’s content is exactly the same as the HTTP-available content. So, I guess the FTP is for people who prefer using FTP clients.

Lol, didn’t I say it was slow?
But anyways, eeeeks. How in the world do you have a 3MB/sec conn.? Arghhhh.

How I wish to have a 3MB connection! The computer is belongs to alas, my distant cousin. My own PC has a miserly 180KB max downstream bandwidth, and upstream is even more depressing - being tied up at 18KB/sec. It makes using eMule all the more difficult.
